From June 5, a ban on landing of Belarusian air carriers at EU airports will begin. Such a decision was taken by the ambassadors of the European Union. This was reported by Rikard Jozvyak on his Twitter.
"The EU ambassadors gave the green light to the ban on the landing of any aircraft of Belarusian carriers at EU airports. It should come into force at midnight," Yozvyak said.
It was previously reported that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a decision on flight safety on June 2 with the requirement that member countries of the organization oblige national carriers to avoid the airspace of Belarus except for emergency situations.
