On Sunday, February 28, the threat of avalanches remains in the Ukrainian Carpathians, which is why rescuers have declared the III level of danger.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Due to the thaw and expected precipitation, a significant avalanche danger remains on February 28," the message says.
In particular, the avalanche danger persists in the mountains of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which is why forecasters have declared the III level of danger.
