Ukrainians named an income per month that would fully satisfy them.
Older women have the lowest requests — most of them would be happy with an amount up to 10. The highest requests are from young and middle-aged men, as well as residents of the capital. This is evidenced by the sociological poll of the Rating Group company, conducted on November 4-9.
Almost every fourth Ukrainian (24%) would be satisfied with a monthly income of up to 10 hryvnias.
An amount of 11 to 15 thousand would suit 14% of the surveyed citizens. 18% would be satisfied with an income of 16-20 thousand hryvnias, 8% of respondents — 21-25 thousand hryvnias, and 11% would like to have 26-30 thousand hryvnias.
22% of the country's residents dream of receiving at least 30 hryvnias per month.
The majority of respondents called their current income level low (36%) or below average (24%). The average is 31%. Only 8% rated their income as above average or high.
Salary is the main source of income for 55% of the population, and pension for 30%. Another 13% receive income from business, 6% receive social benefits.
According to sociologists, the lower the income of the respondents, the smaller the sum they called desirable, the sociologists clarified.
Also, according to social research, almost half of Ukrainians do not make any plans for the future. A quarter plans their life several years ahead, about 15% — six months or an hour, 13% — several months. Making plans for the future is easier for the young, rich and residents of the capital.
