The Security Service of Ukraine conducts inspections of the TV channel "1+1" in order to check who and what kind of influence is exerting on the information policy of this TV channel.
The adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mikhail Podolyak, told about this in an interview RBC Ukraine.
"A comprehensive check is being carried out on "1+1", including the SBU, in connection with the mandatory disclosure of the main beneficiaries of television broadcasters. They must check who is the beneficiary, what influence is exerted on the management, relatively speaking, what is the influence on the information policy with a certain block of shares," said Podolyak.
In addition, he noted that the TV channel has interesting investigations and that he is "playing politics." However, according to Podolyak, "1+1" is a normal media channel for a competitive environment, and he does not see any problems with the functioning of the channel.
Note that the controlling stake in the 1+1 TV channel belongs to Ihor Kolomoiskyi.
