It is noted that in the first half of the 2010s, Ukraine annually lost about half a million people. After 2014, the annual number of people who did not return decreased significantly, but the number of those who left was still in the hundreds of thousands.
The only year with a positive indicator was 2020, when there were 80 Ukrainians who returned home. more than those who left.
In general, from 2011 to 2020, 2,6 million citizens of Ukraine did not return to the country.
According to forecasts, if there is no mass return of Ukrainians to their homes in December 2021, the total negative balance in 11 years will be more than 3,3 million people.
