The enhanced mode of police service in Ukraine has been extended until February 26. This was reported by the head of the National Police, Igor Klymenko.
He emphasized that now is a difficult period of the active phase of the hybrid war against Ukraine. And the police work as a single mechanism with other law enforcement agencies to counteract any attempts to destabilize the situation in the country.
According to Klymenko, last weekend the police, together with the National Guard, strengthened the security and access regime in the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant zone.
"Also, about two thousand policemen protect 245 objects of critical infrastructure in the state," he emphasized.
At the same time, Klymenko reported that as a result of work in an intensified mode last week, the level of crime in Ukraine decreased by an average of 15%.
