Border guards did not let a Russian rock musician into Ukraine

Earlier, he visited the annexed Crimea

Border guards denied entry to Ukraine of a Russian rock musician who arrived at Boryspil airport from Turkey. This was reported in the State Border Service.

During the check-in of the passengers of the above-mentioned flight, the inspectors detained two Russian citizens for violating the entry-exit procedure for the temporarily occupied territory of the Republic of Crimea. One of the detainees was Petr Mamonov, a Russian rock musician, member of the "Zvuki Mu" group, actor and radio host. He, together with a citizen of the Russian Federation, went to Ukraine allegedly for personal purposes.

Taking into account all the circumstances, the employees of the State Border Service refused the foreigners to cross the border and banned both of them from entering Ukraine for three years.
