In Kharkov, a cat was spotted on the tracks at the Armyskaya metro station at seven o'clock in the morning. Animal rights activists asked the metro staff to turn off the voltage, but they did not agree.
As the organization "Rescue Animals Kharkiv" reported, the police and animal rights activists came up with a clever trick to help the cat.
"One of the police officers of the subway suggested trying to connect the net with a mop. The subway workers brought a mop, we poured wet food into the net and the bait worked," the organization said.
According to the volunteers, the kitten had been on the rails since 7 in the morning. How he got into the subway is unknown. It was possible to remove the voltage from the subway rails only in the middle of the night, when the subway closes. The kitten was taken out at 23:30 p.m., he spent about 15 hours on the track.
Now the rescued animal is in a safe place. The cat was named Tina.
