For the safe stay of children in kindergartens, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has developed and approved Recommendations on the organization of preschool work established during the coronavirus quarantine period. Health Minister Maksym Stepanov announced this at a briefing.
"This week, we asked to talk in detail about the school year, which begins on September 1, and answer all the questions. This must be done in order to have a clear understanding of the organization of the educational process. The Ministry of Health has also developed recommendations for preschool educational institutions, so that education there is as safe as possible. These recommendations have already been published on the ministry's website," he noted.
The developed recommendations, in particular, provide for mandatory temperature screening of the employees of the institution before starting work. Educators must receive children from their parents in the morning on the territory of the institution, but outside the building, and in the same way hand over the children to their parents in the evening.
According to the minister, the use of reusable cloth towels, soft toys, long-pile carpets, holding mass events and parent meetings is prohibited in preschool institutions, and it is also forbidden to enter the premises in street shoes. All anti-epidemic events for children must be organized in a playful way.
As a reminder, the recommendations are effective from May 2020. You can find out more about them at link.
