On the occasion of his birthday, the Thai monarch Rama X pardoned 16 citizens of Ukraine, who are in correctional institutions of the Kingdom of Thailand. This was reported in the Embassy of Ukraine in Thailand.
It is noted that all citizens of Ukraine imprisoned in Thailand, without exception, received royal pardons.
In particular, two people received amnesty in the form of a reduction of the sentence by 1/6 of the current term of imprisonment (without taking into account the time spent in prison), seven people - by 1/2. The other seven citizens of Ukraine have been released from custody.
