Near the polling stations on the day of the local elections, an all-Ukrainian poll is held, which was initiated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Volunteers can be easily recognized by their white capes with the inscription "5 questions from the president". At the same time, they do not have specially equipped tents. Anyone can come and vote: upon exiting the polling station, the voter is given a questionnaire with Zelensky's questions, after filling it in, people drop the paper into the survey box.
The volunteers themselves say that they were given questionnaires in the amount of 40% of the voters assigned to the precinct. It is interesting that two days ago, Olga Aivazovskaya, the head of the OPORA network, gave this exact assessment of the turnout in these elections.
In addition, there were many remarks regarding the work of the volunteers: they did not go to a number of sites or are late even in the capital, it is still difficult to say how things are in the countryside. Minors were also noticed among the volunteers.
Let us remind you that Zelensky's five questions sound like this:
- Is it necessary to introduce a life sentence for corruption on a particularly large scale?
- Do you support the creation of a free economic zone in Donbass?
- Should the number of deputies in the Verkhovna Rada be reduced to 300?
- Do you support the legalization of medical cannabis in Ukraine to reduce pain in seriously ill patients?
- Does Ukraine need to raise the issue of using the security guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum at the international level?
