Yesterday, November 19, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held the second online meeting with mayors devoted to the fight against the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
After this meeting, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsynkiv, disclosed the plans of the authorities to introduce a complete lockdown in the country.
He stated this in a video message to himself on Facebook. According to him, the government's tough position on observing the "weekend quarantine" is preparation for the introduction of a complete lockdown in the country.
"There were different dates that the pessimistic version of the lockdown will be introduced from December 10 to 15, and the optimistic version - from December 20 to 25 for a few weeks," Martsynkiv admitted. "All this is discussed, but if the lockdown is introduced, it will be a disaster for small and medium-sized businesses."
