The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Mikhail Fedorov, appealed to the YouTube company with a request to block propagandist Russian mass media, in particular, Russia 24, TASS, RIA Novosti. He reported this in his telegram.
The official also appealed to Mark Zuckerberg with a request to block Russians' access to Facebook and Instagram. And also to Netflix regarding the blocking of their service in the Russian Federation.
"The goal is not to deprive Russians of access to information, but to reach the youth, proactive and thinking population - your "bloody king" is leading you into oblivion - change it now," Fyodorov explained.
As Fedorov notes, Russia is already seeing problems with access to ApplePay.
Earlier, the official turned to the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, with a request to block the Apple Store application store for citizens of the Russian Federation.
