The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided that from August internally displaced persons (IDPs) will receive payments twice a month, instead of once, as before.
According to the The Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, thus, in August, there will continue to be two payment periods for assistance to IDPs - until the 15th and 28th.
"We are talking about monthly state housing assistance in the amount of 3 hryvnias for persons with disabilities and children and 2 hryvnias for all other internally displaced persons," the press service notes.
Also, from August 1, certain categories of internally displaced persons will be deprived of the opportunity to receive payments from the state.
Payments will not be extended to those who have gone abroad and reside there continuously for more than 30 days. Also, those who returned to their place of residence and are not internally displaced persons by definition will not receive money.
Also, from September 1, the assistance is extended only for those citizens whose financial condition requires such support. In particular, payments will not be received by those who made expensive purchases: new cars, land plots and apartments.
Also, in the fall, those displaced people who purchased foreign currency and bank metals for a total amount of more than UAH 100 will lose their payments, as well as those who own housing located in territories other than those where active hostilities are taking place or which are occupied.
