The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, on November 10, addressed the participants of the Paris Peace Forum. The text of the appeal to lead press service of the President of Ukraine.
"I am glad to have the opportunity to address you and I am grateful that in such difficult, turbulent times, the Paris Peace Forum remains effective and contributes to global cooperation. And - what is really important for global stability - it strengthens cooperation between Europe and Africa, Asia, Latin America. Now, in our time, the world is at a crossroads. Local wars can trigger a global collapse. The suffering experienced by this or that nation can drag neighboring peoples into the abyss. But the world is not doomed to disaster and suffering. We can make the right turn!" Zelensky is convinced.
The President is sure that it is the cooperation and unity of all who truly value peace that can prevent disasters and stop the suffering of peoples.
"Every nation is important in this! This is important to remember. There are not a few "big ones" who can supposedly decide something for everyone in the world. All peoples are equal and every people deserves respect. Only such an approach can realize the right of every child of every people to a world in which there will be more examples of achieving peace than stories of its destruction. Therefore, when I proposed the Ukrainian peace formula to protect our people and create a globally significant precedent for the restoration of honest peace, I counted on global efforts, on the unification of the world majority, on cooperation that unites all continents. And we are gradually achieving this." said Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine thanked everyone who supports these efforts and emphasized: there are no such difficulties that cannot be overcome by the unity of people.
Separate words of gratitude were addressed to the people of France and President Emmanuel Macron.
