Ukraine plans to simplify and increase the production of all types of drones this year.
This was told by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi Telegram.
According to him, a three-hour meeting with the military regarding the production of drones was held today.
"Updated and detailed production plans for the current year for all types of drones: FPV, bombers, scouts, as well as long-range drones for special missions." the president wrote.
The meeting discussed how to ensure the flexibility of the Ukrainian defense industry. The president noted that the needs of the front are constantly changing, so drone manufacturers must respond to them in time.
"Important decisions: regarding the simplification of the procurement procedure, the import of equipment, the increase in the production of shells for drones and the training of operators", - said Zelensky.
The meeting also discussed the project of building a complex control system for EW devices to protect Ukrainian soldiers and equipment from Russian drones.
Zelenskyi said that this system is already being tested in separate areas. However, it is planned to scale the project to the entire front.
