President Volodymyr Zelenskyi says that the dismissal of the Chief of Staff Valery Zaluzhny and the key leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a reboot, restructuring and change in the management of the military command. The head of state said this on air FoxNews.
The president emphasized that it is not about "changing the course of our actions", but only "we are talking about things that have not changed for a long time".
"We have to be faster, which means we have to skip all the bureaucracy that we have. We have no other chance. We must be smart, technologically equipped and fast. Time is money, and in our case it is not money, but people's lives." Zelensky emphasized.
The head of state commented on the Hero of Ukraine award for General Zaluzhny.
"He defended our nation and our country. I gave him the title of Hero of Ukraine, because I am very grateful to him for that." — Zelensky emphasized.
