President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited Izyum in the Kharkiv region, liberated from the Russian invaders. The head of state announced this on the Telegram channel.
"Before, when we looked up, we always looked for the blue sky. Today, when we look up, we are looking for only one thing - the flag of Ukraine. Our blue-yellow is already flying in the de-occupied Raisin. And so it will be in every Ukrainian city and village. We are moving in only one direction — forward and to victory," Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the heroic liberation of Izyum.
Ukrainian soldiers are heroic people. Children and grandchildren will never forget your feat.
Thank you to each of you for your service, for liberating the temporarily occupied territories. For protecting the most important thing we have - Ukraine, our sovereignty and territorial integrity.
