The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine spoke about the consequences of the Shahed-131/136 night attack on Odesa, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia region on the night of February 8.
In total, the attack lasted more than 5 hours. The enemy directed the "Shahed-131/136" kamikaze UAV from the waters of the Black Sea and the temporarily occupied Kherson Region to 3 regions. In Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia regions, a total of 10 enemy drones were shot down: 5 in Odesa, 3 in Mykolaiv, and 2 in Vinnytsia.
Head Odesa Oblast Oleg Kiper of the Military Administration (OMA) reported:
"The impact of an enemy drone damaged an unfinished high-rise building, the glazing was broken. Damage to the building of the educational institution was also recorded: the roof was pierced, the windows were broken.
В Defense forces of southern Ukraine reported:
"According to the confirmed data, during the night attack, two patrol policemen were injured, who were on their way to the place of impact to provide assistance to citizens. Mine and explosive injuries were received during the second explosion. They are hospitalized, their condition is stable."
As a result of the attack by "Shakhed" in Nikolaev a recorded hit in the private sector. There are no casualties. This was reported by Telegram channels Oleksandr Sienkovych, the mayor of the city.
"Currently, it is known that more than 20 residential buildings — private and multi-story buildings, office premises, and a private enterprise — have been damaged. We also have consequences on the territory of the utility company. Fortunately, there were no casualties."
The fire that broke out was promptly extinguished by specialists of the State Emergency Service.
On the Vinnytsia fragments of downed UAVs caused a fire at one of the infrastructure facilities. The fire was contained.
