Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in an interview RBC-Ukraine, said that the country plans to launch "smart mobilization", which will allow citizens to independently choose the specialization for which they wish to mobilize.
The official noted that a similar project is planned for launch "in a month or two."
“We're going to run a project on drone operators, and that person chooses whether they want to be a drone operator or serve in a strike drone company. It can be a sapper, a driver, all positions will be available. A person will be able to see what kind of unit, company, what kind of obligations you have, what risks you have, how you will study," — explained the minister.
The head of the Ministry of Statistics emphasized that if a citizen submits an application and passes recruiters, tests and training, he will definitely get into a company of strike drones and into the position for which he himself mobilized.
"This is very important for communication between the state and Ukrainians about justice, honesty and compliance with the rules." Fedorov said.
He also drew attention to other important changes that will be proposed in this project:

— After that, if you fit the characteristics, you undergo training in which you not only get to know the basic things, but you are told what situational awareness is, by specialist experts from the battlefield who operate drones, where you receive a different level of training, and after that you already enter the battlefield, - noted the minister.
After the launch of the innovation, it will be possible to analyze how many Ukrainians will mobilize on their own, how they will be selected, and how they will serve after that, how motivated they will be, he added.
Mykhailo Fedorov noted that in Ukraine summonses will not be issued to conscripts through the "Action" application. In addition, such an innovation is not even planned.
"There will be no subpoenas in Diya. It seems to me that while I am working as a minister, everything we talk about, we then keep our words. Therefore, I can tell you with confidence that there will be no subpoenas in "Diya", - he noted.
