"Ukraerorukh" reacted to the forecast of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation regarding the probability of the resumption of flights in Ukraine only from the end of 2029.

Today, April 11, Eurocontrol (the European organization for the safety of air navigation, which unites 41 countries and is engaged in supporting European aviation in all its aspects) published an updated forecast for the resumption of flights in the European region.
It should be noted that Eurocontrol predicted that restrictions on civil aviation flights in the airspace of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus may remain until 2029. However, Ukraerorus noted that the organization twice a year issues/updates 7-year air traffic forecasts for all member countries and the European region as a whole.
"These factors are considered to be effective until the end of the planning horizon, i.e. until 2029, due to the lack of other confirmed input data for forecasting," says Ukraerorukh.
Closure of the airspace of Ukraine for civilian flights due to military actions, significant restrictions on flights in the airspace of Moldova (also for security reasons), Russia and Belarus (sanction bans), a significant decrease in flights in Poland, the Baltic, Scandinavian countries and an increase in the intensity of flights in the southern the eastern part of Europe (in order to fly over closed areas), etc.
Eurocontrol does not use military forecasts/analytics/assumptions to generate its forecasts. After the appearance of new objective factors, such as the end of the war and reformatting of the route network, the forecast will be updated using new data.
In addition, despite the force majeure circumstances caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation, Ukraine is fully preparing for the resumption of flights in its airspace.
