Ukrainian passports that expired during martial law will remain valid.
This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories with reference to the government's decision.
"Thus, passports of citizens of Ukraine in the form of a card, the terms of validity of which expired during the war, and passports of the 1994 model, in which no photos were pasted upon reaching the age of 25 or 45 (if the term of pasting the photo came during the period of martial law ) ), are documents that certify the identity and confirm the citizenship of Ukraine," the message said.
After the end or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine, the owners of such documents must exchange them within 30 days.
We remind you that from November 1 this year the urgent registration of passports becomes more expensive.
