The memorandum on cooperation between business and cultural institutions will give a new impetus to the development of modern art in Odessa, both parties are confident of cooperation.
The agreement on cooperation and support of large-scale and high-quality cultural projects is a doubly significant event for Odessa, the museum says. In addition to directly financing new museum projects, the memorandum also provides for the creation of a new cultural center on the basis of the Museum of Contemporary Art - "Culture Ambassadors".
"Ambassadors of culture" will support not a single institution, but all directions of the modern cultural space.
As Semyon Kantor, director of the Museum of Modern Art of Odessa, commented on the memorandum: "The fact of the appearance of such a structure as Ambassadors of Culture is very important. Since the ambassadors are focused on culture in general, and not on the development of a specific institution, this is a very important fact."
The Euroterminal company has supported many social projects in the fields of education, sports, and culture. A memorandum signed with the Museum of Modern Art of Odessa became a logical continuation of the social life of the company.
In this regard, the president of Euroterminal company Pavel Lysitsyn said: "Art and culture in general have one very characteristic feature - it is beauty, harmony and internal discipline. It seems to me that this is very close to our business, the business of the Euroterminal company, which deals with transport and logistics, where without harmony, without internal discipline, without beauty and order, it is impossible to exist in principle."
The signatories of the document are confident that the new opportunities and high-quality projects that the support of the Euroterminal company will help to realize will bring benefit and glory to Odessa. And also - they will attract young people to the study and understanding of modern qualitative cultural trends.
"It is absolutely obvious to me that the appearance of the name "Euroterminal" among the ambassadors of culture and the fact of signing such a document indicates a great deal of confidence in what we are doing," emphasized Semyon Kantor.
Immediately after the signing of the memorandum, both structures will focus on the selection and implementation of socially significant international projects. At the same time, one of the first stages of cooperation between the Euroterminal company and the Museum of Contemporary Art will be the digitization of museum exhibitions and projects.
