Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed Vyacheslav Viktorovych Hrybenko, head of the state agency for reclamation and fisheries in the Odesa region, for bribery.
However, in press service agencies reported that Vyacheslav Hrybenko was dismissed from his position at the beginning of September this year and currently temporarily performs the duties of the manager — Serhiy Vasyliovych Tsyganok.
In SBU official sites of both clubs report, that according to the version of the investigation, the official established a corrupt scheme for receiving bribes from individuals and legal entities that carry out business activities in the field of fisheries in the region.
The law enforcement officers documented the fact that the official demanded illegal benefits from the head of the agricultural and fishing cooperative. The attacker demanded a monthly "tribute" in the amount of 240 hryvnias for the unhindered implementation of activities on one of the lakes of the Izmail district. As mediators, he involved his subordinates from among the inspectors of the Odesa Fish Protection Patrol.
In case of refusal, the official threatened the businessman to "destroy" his business by drawing up fictitious protocols for violating the rules of catching commercial fish and using the lake.
SBU operatives documented the fact of demanding and receiving an "advance" and exposed the perpetrator after receiving the next "tranche".
Currently, he has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigations are underway to identify all those involved in the operation of the illegal scheme.
