Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, speaking about the results of the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine "Ramstein" on Tuesday, said that he was "very satisfied" with its results, and spoke about some of them on the sidelines of NATO.
The minister first noted that 54 representatives of the world participated in Ramstein, which means that "the anti-Kremlin coalition is growing."
"I want to say that I heard clear messages from all representatives: this is Ukraine's full support for victory. And everyone believes that the victory of Ukraine is precisely on the battlefield," he said, adding that the participants of "Ramstein" emphasized the speed, timeliness and stability of aid.
"We continued to talk about the training of our units so that they use the equipment that is given to us and provide the adopted decision - so that ready units fulfill the tasks of the General Staff to liberate the temporarily occupied territories," added Reznikov.
The minister also said that the meeting discussed, among other issues, how to ensure greater accountability regarding the accounting of weapons provided by partners for the war against Russia.
Immediately after Ramstein, a two-day meeting of defense ministers of the Alliance countries will take place in Brussels (February 14-15), chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Oleksiy Reznikov will also take part in this meeting of the Alliance.
