Poland will give money for Ukrainian roads

Repair work should begin by the end of the week. The development and investment of credit funds will be controlled by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Poland will allocate 100 million euros in loans for the repair of roads and checkpoints in the Lviv region. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, August 19, reports our correspondent.

Thanks to negotiations with Polish partners, after five years of bureaucratic obstacles, Ukraine will attract an additional 100 million euros in credit funds, Shmygal said.

"I will personally ask the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers to inspect the start of work this Friday, to open repair works in the Lviv region, to monitor that the development and investment of credit funds is proper", - emphasized the prime minister.
