The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that the UN will form groups for humanitarian aid and evacuation in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, provided that the Russian Federation provides security guarantees and opens access for travel from territories controlled by Ukraine.
The United Nations is now awaiting the provision of the specified guarantees from the Russian side and access to the occupied territories affected by the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP dam. The Russian Federation has not yet commented on this proposal.
