"European Union Career Day" for young people will be held in Odessa

Due to the quarantine, the event will be held online.

On April 20, the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine will hold an online event "EU Career Day" in Odessa. Student youth, representatives of public organizations, entrepreneurs, civil servants and active young people are invited to the event.

Panel discussion "Professional development and European integration"

Moderator: Irina Shostak is an associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Odessa National University of Economics, coordinator of the EU Information Center of the National University of Ukraine

EU Career Day is implemented within the framework of the project "Information support of EU networks in Ukraine". The event has been held annually in more than 15 cities of Ukraine for the past five years. Career Day in EU is a series of public ones  events at which representatives of the EU Network and all active and interested citizens can share their opinion, their own experience of implementing standards and EC practitioners in Ukraine, with participation in EU programs for the development of new business and educational opportunities, will discuss trends in the labor market, in particular, the knowledge and skills that young people need for a successful career.

During the event, guests will learn about the approaches of the European Union in the field of youth employment, lifelong learning, as well as the priorities of the social and economic development of the EU. Trainings will help participants develop soft skills,  such as communication, cooperation, self-presentation and job search skills, to increase emotional intelligence, etc.
