The Ministry of Energy plans to extend the effect of special obligations, the term of which expires on October 30 of this year, with the provision of current tariffs for electricity for the population.
"Nothing will change for people. Tariffs will remain unchanged," the minister emphasized.
According to Galushchenko, the Ministry of Energy is working on certain changes to the PSO model, in particular to be able to maintain tariffs. Currently, household consumers pay for electricity 1,44 UAH/kWh for monthly consumption of 250 kWh inclusive and 1,68 UAH/kWh for amounts exceeding 250 kWh.
