Saturday's attack by a Russian drone on the energy infrastructure of Kryvyi Rih was one of the most massive of the year. It is reported "Ukrenergo".
It is clarified that the restoration work was not easy: since after the attacks, the reliability of the power supply of the damaged power station decreases, the repair crews had to return the light to consumers in the region twice during the day.
Currently, work in both the trunk and distribution networks is still ongoing, but the power supply has already been restored.
"Energy workers managed to significantly minimize the consequences of drone attacks, even in a specific energy node, thanks to preparation for all possible scenarios in the summer. In fact, these were the first outages following airstrikes since the beginning of the heating season, which we are two-thirds of the way through."
Recall that on Saturday night in Kryvyi Rih due to a drone strike two boiler houses and 7500 subscribers were cut off. The city's energy engineers introduced emergency shutdown schedules according to the algorithm used last year during blackouts. Later in the evening, due to network overload, some areas of Kryvyi Rih, as well as the surrounding 5 communities, remained without electricity.
