According to insider Unknownz21, the appearance of the iPhone SE 4 will be based on the current iPhone 14, that is, the "Home" button and wide frames above and below the screen will disappear. Well, the 4.7-inch LCD screen will replace the 6.1-inch OLED.
Also, the budget iPhone SE 4 will receive one of the key functions of the not-yet-released iPhone 15 - a new "Action" button instead of a silent mode switch. It will be possible to assign an action at will, as is already possible in the Apple Watch Ultra.
The insider also attributes the novelty to a USB Type-C connector instead of Lightning. But the main camera will allegedly remain single - as in the iPhone SE (2022).
Earlier there was information that the new iPhone SE will not be released before 2025. The reason for the delay lies in the long development of its own 5G modem. It is this model that will become a testing ground for Apple's 5G modems.
The latest iPhone SE to date was released in March 2022, so it's relatively new at this point. The previous model in the series was released in 2020, that is, the generation was relevant for two years. In the case of the iPhone SE 3, it seems that it will be relevant for at least three years.
According to last year's statistics, iPhone SE 2022 became one of the best-selling smartphones of the year. And this despite the outdated design, small screen and weak battery.
