On September 7, Apple held the first 2022 autumn Apple Event presentation under the slogan "Far Out", at which it officially presented the new iPhone 14 smartphone.
The star of the evening was the iPhone 14 "proshki", which radically updated their design for the first time since 2017.
In addition, it announced a new premium model of the Apple Watch Ultra smart watch, Apple Watch Series 8 and other novelties.

The smartphone is available in 5 colors. They promise that the iPhone 14 Plus will have the longest battery life in history. The iPhone 14 Plus has a 6,7-inch display. The regular iPhone 14 has the same display as the iPhone 13. It will be able to hold a charge for 24 hours. Both models have an A15 processor, like the iPhone 13 Pro.
The iPhone 14 camera is 49% better in the dark than the previous model. The smartphone will receive support for satellite communication in November 2022 (but so far only in the American market). The feature will be free for the first two years. It will be possible to send short messages and geolocation via satellite communication
iPhone 14 Pro, new colors and "bangs".
It has an A16 processor that is capable of 4 trillion photo operations per second. In the place where the "bang" was on the old models, calls, music, timer, Face ID, connecting headphones and more will now be displayed. The gadget is equipped with a new A16 Bionic processor. The main camera of the new IPhone 14 Pro is 48 megapixels.
The new main camera takes photos twice as well in low light, using a four-pixel sensor with an aperture of f/1,78 and a focal length of 24 mm. The flash in the iPhone 14 camera system has also been redesigned.
Common to all models: support for satellite communication for messages in emergency situations, as well as the absence of a SIM card slot. In new smartphones from Apple, the "sevens" will be virtual.
Apple Watch Series 8.
Among the main features of the new watch: the ability to measure body temperature; now the watch can detect a car accident and automatically call rescuers; monitor menstruation and ovulation, which allows them to determine the date of conception of the child.
In addition, there is a Low Power Mode, which, as the announcement says, will reduce consumption by 50% and increase battery life to 36 hours.
At the same time, the design, interface and main functions remained from Series 7.
The new model will be available in 4 matte and 3 glossy colors.
Another novelty of Apple's presentation is the Apple Watch Ultra
The watch is made of titanium, has a flat sapphire crystal and a rib that protects it from shocks, and for those who like extreme water sports, an Ocean Band strap. Can work up to 60 hours without charging. There is an additional programmable button, another speaker and an enlarged Digital Crown wheel. Have an improved geolocation function.
One of the new features in the Apple Watch Ultra is a built-in siren that can be heard from a distance of almost 200 meters, which can help others find the user if he is lost. The Apple Watch Ultra also includes the usual health features, such as monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen levels.
The new AirPods Pro were shown based on the new H2 chip, which will receive Bluetooth 5.2 support. The sound will be better, the connection quality will be more stable.
Now the headphones can work for up to six hours on a single charge. At the same time, the case allows this time to be increased to 30 hours. By the way, it has also been updated - there are two speakers at the bottom for the operation of the "Locator" program.
New iPhones will be available on store shelves from September 16. The iPhone 14 Plus will make its debut later on October 7.
