Apple will launch the Digital Legacy function, which will allow users to choose 5 "successors" of their iCloud data.
To receive digital information in the form of photos, videos, documents, messages, notes and contacts of the deceased, Apple will need to provide evidence of the person's death and a data access key.
Also, a specific expiration date for access to the materials will be set, by which all data must be downloaded.
The developers of the function noted that people have repeatedly complained to the company that in the event of the death of relatives, it is impossible to restore the data belonging to them.
