Chairman of the European Council Charles Michel arrived in Odesa
He was met by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"I came to Odessa to celebrate Europe Day. To the city where Pushkin said that "you can feel Europe". And where today the Ukrainian people protect their monuments from bullets and missiles and their freedom from Russian aggression. You are not alone. The EU supports you," said the European politician.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine and the President of the European Council reviewed the current situation in the port of Odessa.
Denis Shmyhal and Charles Michel coordinated joint steps to solve the problem of exporting Ukrainian agricultural products.
"The world needs to see what is really happening and how Russia is blocking the seaports of Ukraine, creating a food shortage in the world," commented Denys Shmyhal.
