Ukraine will export grain again, whether Russia likes it or not - Budanov

Appropriate measures are already being taken

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said on the air of the Bulgarian TV channel bTV, that Ukraine will resume grain exports from its ports, despite Russia's actions.

According to Budanov, the world should not be held hostage by one terrorist country, because mainly Asian and African countries suffer due to the reduction of Ukrainian grain exports.

"We are doing everything necessary to restore the export of grain through the Black Sea and will restore this export. This will happen regardless of whether Russia likes it or not." said Budanov.

According to the head of the GUR, another evidence of Russia's crimes against humanity is the attacks by its armed forces on the port infrastructure and grain warehouses of Ukraine.

"Attacks on the port infrastructure and granaries of Ukraine are another evidence of Russia's crime against humanity. Due to the fact that we have reduced the export of grain, mainly insecure countries that depend on Ukraine for food — mainly Asian and African countries — suffer. he noted.

Budanov also answered questions about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces in the interview. According to him, the Russians managed to build well-fortified defensive positions and, despite this, the Ukrainian army continues to advance.

"I will not hide that it is difficult. The main thing is that the counteroffensive continues and in the direction of Bakhmut it is going a little faster than in the south, but time will tell." Budanov said.
