Ukraine will have a Center for long-term storage of vaccines at ultra-low temperatures. Special refrigerators will be placed there, in which they want to place the coronavirus vaccine, which requires storage at a temperature of -60 to -80 degrees.
This was reported on Facebook by the head of the parliamentary committee on national health, medical care and medical insurance, Mikhail Radutsky.
According to Radutsky, one refrigerator for drugs with a volume of 1 liters (approximately 250 doses) is already in Ukraine, and 000 more are awaiting delivery. The center will be located directly in Kyiv or near Boryspil airport. The vaccine will be sent to the regions from this center. It is planned that delivery will be handled by logistics companies that have the necessary equipment. In special thermoboxes, the drug will be delivered to regions where it can be stored for up to five days in conventional refrigeration equipment (at a temperature of +20 to +2 degrees).
