Vaccination of children against COVID-19 began today in Odessa. Mobile teams have been formed in all children's city clinics.
Vaccinations are given at the request of parents and those who have already turned 12 years old and in the absence of contraindications.
Vaccination offices were opened in all children's clinics of the city.
Children will be vaccinated with the Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech. This is caused by the increase in morbidity among children and the number of hospitalizations.
"Vaccination rooms are open in all children's clinics in Odessa," added Levon Nikohosyan.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Health gave permission to vaccinate Pfizer because it showed satisfactory results in children in Great Britain, the United States, the countries of the European Union and Israel.
