The Ministry of Health told how they want to tighten the quarantine in Ukraine

We are talking about new restrictions for shopping malls, gyms and swimming pools, as well as a ban on holding mass events

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine will propose to the government to tighten quarantine in the country. In particular, we are talking about new restrictions for shopping malls, gyms and swimming pools, as well as a ban on holding mass events.

This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Medical Officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko during a briefing on November 5.

"Unfortunately, the situation with the spread of the coronavirus disease is worsening, and not only in Ukraine... Despite the record number of recoveries for Ukraine, more than 27 thousand people continue to be treated in hospitals... Today we want to propose to the government to establish additional quarantine restrictions in Ukraine. They will concern restrictions on the activities of food areas, children's rooms and entertainment areas in shopping malls," Lyashko said.

Yes, the Ministry of Health proposes that only shops operate in shopping malls.

"We also want to ask the government to ban all mass cultural events, limit the activities of sports halls, fitness centers, swimming pools, and ban the activities of business entities that do not comply with sanitary standards," Lyashko said.

In addition, it is proposed to recommend to economic entities to establish a separate time for servicing people over the age of 60.
