On the first day of registration, more than 38 thousand people signed up for vaccinations

More than 38 thousand people signed up for vaccinations on the first day of registration through the "Diya" application, which was developed as a digital tool for organizing vaccination against the coronavirus in Ukraine.

This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov during an online briefing on Tuesday, March 2.

According to him, 5 people signed up for vaccination through the vaccination portal, 280 people signed up by calling the contact center of the Ministry of Health, and more than 671 people signed up through Diya.

"These figures eloquently confirm the readiness of Ukrainians for vaccination, trust in the health care system and plans of the Ministry of Health to overcome Covid-19. We tried to make registration for vaccination absolutely convenient for everyone," he said.

The head of the Ministry of Health added that the vaccination information module is fully integrated into the eHealth electronic health system.

Stepanov also clarified that it is possible to sign up for vaccination by calling the contact center of the Ministry of Health 0860 2019, through the portal vaccination.covid19.gov.ua and through the "Action" application.
