29-year-old Anna Sedunova died in the maternity ward of the Odesa Regional Hospital. The girl was 7 months pregnant and contracted Covid-19. It was also not possible to save the child. This was reported by the husband of the deceased Alexander.
The family lived in the city of Yuzhny, Odesa region. On November 12, the family contracted Covid-19. According to Alexander, his wife immediately called the gynecologist who was managing the pregnancy. But he advised her to drink paracetamol and simply not leave the house.
"Precious 10 days were lost when my wife was told: 'drink paracetamol.' 10 days at home and 3 days in the hospital. They planted 6 liters of oxygen in total, with a 50% lesion. They treated with lasolvan, like ordinary pneumonia. They were not sent to the covid department of the maternity hospital. They sent there already to die. 2 days and 3 resuscitations. My wife and daughter were killed," said a grieving man online.
Alexander believes that his wife was deliberately not transferred to the maternity ward and kept in the hospital for three days, as they wanted to earn money. After all, the state allocates UAH 19 per day for a Covid-27 patient. Given that the wife is pregnant, the amount was double. As a result, the woman ended up in the hospital when one lung was already gone and the tests exceeded the norm by 000 times. She stayed there for two days and ended up in intensive care. Two days later, Anna died of "multiorgan failure". The child died of hypoxia.
Alexander Sedunov is sure that the doctors who did not help them in time are to blame for the death of his wife and child. At the same time, he claims that he was not given medical documents. A 5-year-old son remained in the family. The man plans to contact the prosecutor's office.
