Unvaccinated students are offered scholarships. It appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers petition, submitted by university professors to leave scholarships for students who have not passed the immunization process.
According to the author of the petition, a teacher of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko and Vladimir Shelukhin, the vaccination requirement should apply not only to teaching staff and support staff, but also to students.
"In our opinion, the requirement for vaccination should concern all participants of the educational process - not only teachers and support staff of higher education institutions, but also students, who are more than teachers. For example, as of 2020, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University had 2 teachers and more than 974 applicants for higher education," the message says.
Note that as of today, November 2, the petition was signed by 75 people out of the required 25.
