According to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, victory is more than the return of all occupied territories. Zaluzhnyi wants to create such a strong army that no one else attacks Ukraine.
In addition, he was also outraged by the fact that the Western allies are against Ukraine striking the territory of the Russian Federation with Western weapons. Zaluzhny said that in this case the Armed Forces of Ukraine will attack the occupiers on their territory with Ukrainian-made weapons.
"This is our problem, and it is up to us to decide how to kill this enemy. In war, the enemy can and should be killed on his territory. If our partners are afraid to use their weapons, we will kill with ours. But exactly as much as is necessary," said Zaluzhnyi.
According to him, now Ukrainians trust him with their security, and Western partners with billions in aid.
“In order to save my people, why should I ask someone for permission to do something in enemy territory? Somehow I should think I'm not allowed to do anything there. Why? Because Putin will use nuclear weapons? Don't you care about dying children?"
What is "victory" for Zaluzhny
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces expects that he will be busy even after the war. His concept of victory is more than simply restoring full territorial integrity.
"Victory will come when we have an army - perhaps even a large one - that will guarantee the safety of children who are currently riding in strollers, so that they grow up knowing that this will not happen again," Zaluzhny.
