The National Economic Strategy of Ukraine developed on the basis of the audit until 2030 should become the Economic Constitution of Ukraine.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, presenting the National Economic Audit of the State.
"Based on the results of the audit, the government will present the main vectors of development of the Ukrainian economy until 2030. We will clearly understand where and why our economy will move. In order to constantly grow, to realize the already existing potential and to create new breakthrough ideas, it is not necessary to catch up, but to be a few steps ahead," Zelensky noted.
According to him, these are important, but far from the last steps.
"On the basis of the audit and vectors, we expect the emergence of the National Economic Strategy by 2030. I know that the government has already begun to actively work on it, involving many experts, business representatives, the public, international analysts and scientists. I would like to point out that this is an important document. The strategy should not be a declaration that is not mandatory for implementation, but the main plan and road map for all branches of government in Ukraine. It should receive the broad approval of citizens and be a kind of economic Constitution of Ukraine, a great national idea," the head of state said.
