In 2020, the turnover of Ukraine reached 103,55 billion dollars, which is 6,36% less than in 2019. The deficit in trade in goods during this period amounted to 4,9 billion dollars, more than halved compared to January-December 2019.

During this period, Ukraine imported goods worth $54,22 billion (compared to the same period in 2019, imports decreased by $6,18 billion or 10,23%).
$49,32 million was exported from Ukraine (a decrease in exports compared to the same period in 2019 amounted to $0,85 billion or 1,7%).
The three most exported goods from Ukraine include:
- grain — by 9,42 billion dollars.
- ferrous metals — for $7,7 billion.
- fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin — for $5,77 billion.
The most imported to Ukraine were:
- mineral fuels, oil and products of its distillation — 7,96 billion dollars.
- machines, equipment and mechanical devices — 5,88 billion dollars.
- ground transport, its parts and equipment — $5,5 billion.
