The Cabinet of Ministers plans to introduce state regulation of gas prices. For household consumers, it will be sold at UAH 6,99 per cubic meter during the quarantine period.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on January 13.
According to Shmyhal, the price of gas for household consumers during the quarantine period or until the end of the heating season will be set at UAH 6,99 per cubic meter.
Let us remind you that the price of gas in Ukraine has been increasing since last year due to the transition to market prices, which is one of the key conditions of the IMF. The price of gas for January fluctuates between UAH 6 and UAH 990, with a weighted average price of UAH 10. At the beginning of 800, tariff protests swept the country.
