"On average in Ukraine, the cost of a New Year's table in 2021 for a Ukrainian family of 4 will increase compared to the cost of a New Year's table in 2020 by only 5,3% and will amount to UAH 1706,09," the director of the Institute of Agrarian Economics was quoted as saying in the press service. academician of NAAS Yury Lupenko.
According to him, the New Year's menu was taken for evaluation from dishes that are considered traditional for the table of an average family: salads, meat and fish products, vegetables, fruits, bakery and confectionery products, drinks and the like.
According to the calculations of scientists of the Institute of Agrarian Economics, 3 kg salad "Olivier" the traditional recipe will cost 159,37 UAH. This is 13,8% more than when celebrating the New Year 2020. The calculation of the cost of the New Year's table in 2021 was made by the National Research Center "Institute of Agrarian Economics" on the basis of data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, monitoring of retail prices in city markets and supermarkets on average by region as of December 1, 2020.
