The dollar rate on the cash market of Ukraine has grown sharply over the past week and on the morning of January 18 broke the maximum record for the last 12 months.
The last time such a high rate of the dollar (28 hryvnias, 25 kopecks) was observed exactly an hour ago — in mid-January 2021, after which it gradually became cheaper.
Today, January 18, the selling rate of the cash dollar immediately increased by 25 kopecks to UAH 28,45, and the buying rate by 23 kopecks to UAH 28,15.
Dollars are sold to the population at exchange offices for UAH 28.60 - 28.75.
The euro buying rate increased by 22 kopecks to UAH 31,98, the selling rate — by 21 kopecks to UAH 32,41.
Note that for 2021, it is official hryvnia to dollar exchange rate increased by 3,5%, and to the euro by 11%.
