Ukrainian grain prices this season easily broke the previous record set in 2012-2013.
Now the price of food wheat is about 320-330 US dollars per ton, and feed wheat is about 300-310 dollars.
At the same time, during the harvest campaign, wheat prices on the market did not fall, on the contrary, they rose even more.
According to experts' forecasts, wheat prices will continue to rise under the influence of external factors — primarily, due to the small amount offered on the market, large demand from exporters and favorable conditions on world markets. Moreover, against the background of rising prices, many Ukrainian farmers "held back" sales, which led to an even greater increase in prices.
In particular, in 9 months of 2021, Ukraine exported grain crops to other countries worth one and a half billion dollars, which is 38% more than last year.
