Google held its annual spring I\O presentation, which, among other things, was is presented new AI tools for creating media content: Veo, which generates video in 1080p, and Imagen 3, the company's most powerful AI artist.
Veo is an analogue of Sora for creating videos lasting more than a minute in various visual styles: both realistic and animated. It creates videos based on a text request, but it can be supplemented with an image or video, so that the AI takes as a basis the idea embedded in the original content.
Veo is slated for a full public launch at the end of 2024, and beta test applications are currently being accepted at labs.google.

As for Imagen 3, it's Google's best image-by-text tool today. This model does better with long text queries and complex details, including high detail and realistic lighting.
While it will be available only to developers, later it will be made available to everyone.
