Representatives of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture are inspecting border points on the border with Ukraine for the second day. The government of Poland announced the strengthening of control at the border with Ukraine. Warsaw wants to intensify inspections of goods leaving Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland Twitter (X).

The head of the Polish department, Czeslaw Sekerski, conducted inspections at the border crossing point "Medyka". Earlier, he visited the Korchova checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.

Sekerskyi announces the strengthening of control and greater activation of inspections.

"Excessive import of agricultural products from Ukraine, which does not meet EU production requirements, threatens the competitiveness of Polish agriculture", - says the message of the ministry.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Poland, Michal Kolodziejczak, is also inspecting border points for the second day in a row. Today he visited the checkpoint "Yagodin-Dorogusk", and yesterday he visited Hrubeshuv.

He noted that he oversees inspections of agricultural goods imported from Ukraine.

Kolodzeichak too posted a photo low-quality frozen raspberries that were turned away at the border.

"After such raspberries, there is only one conclusion: an embargo on Ukrainian frozen raspberries, of which more than 2023 tons arrived in Poland in 60," — he wrote on Twitter (X).
